This course trains call center representatives to effectively check and confirm scheduling availability for customer moves. It emphasizes that an estimate must be completed before availability can be discussed, as move duration and crew requirements depend on it. Trainees will learn how to assess move dates (excluding Sundays), use the Dispatch Calendar, interpret move types by color codes, and apply key scheduling rules—such as move time limits, truck capacity, and approval requirements for exceptions. The course also covers how to offer alternative dates, handle fully booked schedules without saying “overbooked,” and manage the cancellation list when needed. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to provide clear, professional communication and ensure that scheduling decisions align with company policies and operational efficiency.
